Background was exhibited as part of Revela’T 2025, the leading international festival dedicated to contemporary analogue photography, held in Vilassar de Dalt (Barcelona) from 17 May to 15 June 2025.

Presented under the theme "I've Seen Things You People Wouldn't Believe", inspired by the iconic Blade Runner monologue, this year's edition explored the boundaries between memory, imagination and human experience
Bringing together 25 exhibitions, the festival invited audiences to reflect on the invisible, the ephemeral and the inexpressible, creating a journey through images that exist at the edges of reality.
Background was presented in Plaça del Teatre as part of the festival’s outdoor exhibition programme, contributing to the wider conversation around the construction of reality and fiction.
My participation in Revela’T also included the festival’s professional portfolio reviews, providing the opportunity to present the project to curators, publishers and photography professionals in a context of dialogue, critical exchange and networking.
The 2025 edition honoured photographer Juan Manuel Díaz Burgos, whose work is celebrated for its deeply humanistic and poetic vision.
